Dressing Bridesmaids and Flower Girls

Last time we talked dresses, my Mom had found a dress, but 5 out of 6 bridesmaids and our Flower Girl were still dressless!

While we were at Alfred Angelo with my Mom, BM Niece and BM Momma decided to take the opportunity to try on bridesmaid dresses.

BM Niece is one of those girls who look amazing in everything – she’s tall, skinny, and of course, totally gorgeous (IMHO!).

She tried on a bunch of dresses that we all loved.

But eventually she decided on this one, which I just realized is a shorter version of the long lace one above!

BM Momma is so freaking cute and looked awesome in every dress our consultant picked for her.

But as soon as she tried on this one, she got this big grin on her face and said out loud she felt beautiful.   It's super rare to hear BM Momma compliment herself at all, so we knew this was a winner!!

And then, our consultant upped the ante and put a sash on the dress and that was the end. Look at that smile on her face!

We ordered both dresses (and the sash of course!) before we left the shop and to show you how exhausting the day was, check out what I caught happening on the ride home!

Haha she's gonna kill me if she sees this posted!!

The weekend after, I had the chance to go shopping with BM Sweetheart and FG Niece at Alfred Angelo in Pittsburgh.  I was so excited for FG Niece to try on their Disney Princess dresses!

BM sweetheart is another one of those girls who you want to punch in the face because she can pull off literally any style and look amazing.  Check out all these dresses she tried on and rocked!

Awww sisters!  Aren’t they adorable!!

And this was the dress she ended up choosing.

I love that both our nieces are rocking the one-shoulder styles.  It ties them together without being too matchy-matchy.

After BM Sweetheart was settled, we had the hard decision of picking a flower girl dress for FG Niece.

I gave her run of the store and said she could pick out whatever dress she wanted.  I was secretly hoping she’d pick a white one just so we wouldn’t have to worry about the colors she chose for her dress, but in the end, if she wanted to wear a crazy rainbow dress, I don’t think I could have said no.

Seriously, check these out and tell me your heart doesn’t melt!!

What better way to make a girl feel like a princess than to give her a tiara, amirite?!

And the one she finally chose in the end!

Doeblerghini Bunch: Flower Girl Dresses - White Satin - Ariel

I ended up buying the tiara on the sly and we’ll be giving it to her as part of her thank you gift.  Not going to lie, I’m a little jealous!!  I want a tiara!!  Maybe she’ll let me borrow it…?

Now we’ve got my Mom, 3 (4 if you count MOH BsB who bought her dress ages ago) bridesmaids out of the way, and the flower girl – so we just have MOH Hoboken and BM NYC left to complete the bridal party.

It’s crazy how quickly this stuff starts to come together, isn’t it?

How are you guys deciding on bridesmaid dresses?  Are you picking one for your girls, or are you letting them pick their own?  What about your flower girl?
